Ambulatory sleep-wake polygraphy in a patient suffering from PTSD
J.H.M. de Groen, P.P.E. Bergs, V.C.P.J. van Ammers
In this case study, the sleep disturbances of a victim from World War II are described. The results of ambulatory sleep-wake polygraphy indicated that a sleep-apneusyndrome could be identified as well as internal dissociation of the circadian rhythms of several physiological variables. The possible relationship with sleep terrors is discussed.
