In consequente of the 'Nota over de terbeschikkingstelling van de regering', a memorial dealing with mentally disturbed delinquents sentenced to a security measure to undergo psychiatrie tratment, thereby remaining detained for an indefinite time ('put at Her Majesty's pleasure'), future possibilities of evaluation by research during treatment of delinquents, were discussed.
Hereby were studied successively evaluation in general treatment and during treatment according to directed methods and evaluation in a socio-therapeutic community.
In each of these territories the necessity of multidisciplinary research was stressed and its possible results were pointed out.
Special attention was paid to the necessity of ideological integration of research and treatment.
In the 'Nota over de terbeschikkingstelling van de regering' research has been presented as incidental luxury, but should have been put forward as self-evident routine procedure.
