Case report
Side effects of treatment with the long-acting gonadoreline in a case of paraphilia. A case study
J.H. Hoogeveen, E. van der Veer
summary A 35-year-old man with a paraphilia was treated with long-acting gonadoreline. The desired result was reduced preoccupation with sexuality, but there were various side effects including a serious amount of bone loss. We believe that more attention should be given to the adverse effects of long-term treatment with triptorelin. In our view the drug regimen needs to be revised.
