Short report
A place for child and adolescent psychiatric training within the future psychiatric residency training?
F. Verheij
summary The question remains whether the members of the Dutch Association of Psychiatry are going to endorse the reality that a majority of the psychiatrists no longer works as generalists and whether they have the courage to convert this reality into a dynamic profile, with variable end terms and into balance between generalisation and specialisation. For the positioning of the child and adolescent psychiatry as well as the child and adolescent psychiatrist much depends on the answer to this question, also in view of the European reality. Possible scripts will be reviewed.
