Strategic policy in (Dutch) mental health care: from diversity to monoculture
D.C. van Oostveen, J.W. Hummelen
A study is described of the priorities with regard to current policy trends in Dutch health care for managers, psychiatrists and clients of different mental health care institutions. In spite of some group-related priorities, it is notable that the priority-profiles of all groups investigated are more or less the same. We think that this (apparent) consensus reflects the strong influence of politics on mental health care in the Netherlands.
