The borders between general and forensic mental health care systems

Developments in general mental health care and forensic psychiatric care gave rise to a discussion about the relationship between the two systems, against the background of changes in society. This article tries to provide a more comprehensive view on this relationship. Both systems, although based on different legal regulations, should provide a more complementary and cohesive care.
