Socio-cultural perspective of psychiatry in question
The socioculturally rich picture of psychiatry the famous Dutch psychiatrist Trimbos could paint in 1972, no longer fits reality. The psychiatrist as a biomedical specialist presently dominates the field. The chances are that the tide will turn in the near future.
