Winter depression and light treatment I: Syndrome and treatment
In this article, diagnostics and treatment of winter depression are reviewed. The most important treatment, light therapy, can be administered in different ways. Besides differences in light intensity and fixtures, differences in timing and time span of the treatment are discussed. Some alternative treatments are also mentioned.
