Disturbed language in psychosis: a case study
H.J.M. Engels, A. Steen
By a cryptanalysis the disturbed language of a psychotic patient can be traced back to clang associations on the family name. A model analogous to the model for the dis-turbed language in Emil Kraepelin's dreams appears to be equally valid here. Thepat ient supported the analysis by an account of a change in his family name that took place in early childhood.
