The CPRS is a flexible and economic instrument permitting general screening, intensity rating and multidimensional description. The reliability of the Dutch version is comparable to that of the German scale. The factor structure supports the validity of several independently developed intensity rating scales for anxiety, depression, psychomotor poverty, and `positive symptoms'.
