In this, by now anecdotal, contribution the author sketches the events concerning clozapine on the American market. A combination of circumstances has led to the producer, Sandoz, being responsible not only for the production of the drug, but for controlling the negative side-effects as well, with at first adverse consequences for the patients. At the moment there seems to be a change for the better.
