How to talk best with ghosts
R.F. Riemersma
Based on his own psychotic experiences with voices, conversations with other psychotics and the literature, the author proposes the idea to engage in psychotherapy that recognizes the existence of ghosts. The psychotic experience is considered from four supplementary points of view: illness, personal experience, loss of adjustment and contact with `bodyless persons' (ghosts). The directions given show the therapist how he can help to enable the client to integrate talking to ghosts in normal life. Recognition of the voice persons (ghosts), sharing information about their nature, sensible rules in communicating with them have to go along with a daily life that has a little stress as possible and should be basically joyful.
