Short report
Psychosexual development disturbances
J.V. Ladee-Levy
By means of a scheme, derived from Mony, the psychosocial history of development is systematically overlooked. Several clinical examples illustrate the author's conclusion stating that the Gender Identity (the psychosocial gender feeling) probably is formed especially by the notion the parents have about the gender of their child, whereas the gender role (the gender specific behaviour) primarily seems to be dependent on hormonal and chromosomal infulences.
