Short report
Report on an investigation concerning some psychological aspects of conscientious objectors
M. Kabela
In the ABV-test, (Amsterdamse Biografische Vragenlijst, a Dutch personality questionnaire), the conscientious objectors scored highly on the N-scale, (neurotic lability as far as manifested in psycho-neurotic complaints), and on the NS-scale, (neurotic lability as far as manifested in functional physical complaints). The CST-76 test, (Conceptual system test, (0. J. Harvey c.s.) ), also showed interesting results: only 5% of the examined conscientious objectors scored dominantly on system I, which means that they are supposed to be little authoritive, in the traditional sense. They do not resist authority more strenuously than subjects of experiments of a representative random.
