In 1869 the psychiatric hospitals in the Netherlands stilt could take all the old mentally disturbed persons who could not stay at home.
At the moment this is not possible any Jonger.
The problem must be solved by building specialized nursing homes for this group of patients.
These homes must function as a part of a geriatric service in the community.
Some of the mant' questions arising in this field were pointed out.
