Self-organizing artificial neural networks which illustrate the interaction between the biological and environmental domain
N. van Beveren
summary In natural science 'complex dynamical systems' are in the focus of interest. A property of these kind of systems is their ability for self-organization. For its emergence the interaction of environmental and biological parameters is of importance. The purpose of this study is to elucidate self-organization as it might occur in the brain guided by the description of an artificial neural network. Subsequently, the psychiatric interest is dealt with.
