A questionnaire was sent to thirty-odd psychiatrists concerning their opinion on psychiatric reports on disability insurance. In this article the results are discussed as well as some shortcommings of the psychiatric report. Furthermore, some criteria are mentioned which are essential to such a report.

The hope is that standardisation of this particular type of report will improve the quality of the report.
