T. Niers, M. Vegt, J.H.M. Tulen, G. Janzen, M.W. Hengeveld
summary Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Tourette's syndrome frequently occur together in one and the same person. The case of a man with both disorders serves as a basis for a discussion of the pharmacotherapeutic options available for treating adults suffering form these two disorders si-multaneously. The authors give advice regarding the use of anti psychotics, stimulants, clonidine (an α-2-adrenoceptor agonist) and combinations of these.
