Psychotherapy and the biological revolution

The debate in mental health care on value and applicability of psychotherapeutic versus biological-psychiatric treatment is often conducted without scientific arguments. Cultural and political motives interfere with scientific control. The underlying 'nature-nurture' discussion is reviewed using recent data of biological and psychological research.
