This study examines the relation between daily stress and dissociative phenomena. The respondents of the study are exposed to a high amount of stress and dissociation is measured at two different points of time, with an interval of two months. It was found that many dissociative experiences are reported when daily stress is high. Furthermore, it appears that a decrease in the stress level is in proportion with the decrease in the level of dissociation.
