Short report
From the Central Register of Psychiatrie Inpatients (M.2)
R. Giel, J.R. van Weerden-Dijkstra
A survey of the diagnostic classification of the inpatients on admission and at discharge shows an agreement of 83%. The more significant shifts in classification occur between the 'other psychoses' and the personality disorders, and between the 'other psychoses' and the addictions. These shifts might indicate a change in the universe of discourse from symptom clusters to personality trait clusters.
