Permanent cerebellar sequelae after intoxication at therapeutic lithium levels
I.M. van der Steenstraten, R.A. Achilles
Permanent cerebellar sequelae are infrequent severe side effects of treatment with lithium, even at therapeutic lithium levels (lower than 1.2 mmol/l). Unfamiliarity with this phenomenon can lead to a wrong diagnosis such as conversion, as will be illustrated by this case report.
