Beschouwingen over het schildknaapcomplex
J.A. Groen
The meaning of these considerations is to underline the importante of a son's attitude to the father which is called 'apprentice-complex'.
In the author's view this attitude does not belong to the negative oedipuscomplex, but can best be considered having an important role in solving the oedipal conflict.
Some vicissitudes of the complex, as well in normal as in neurotic development, have been elaborated.
