The carbohydrate-metabolism with depressive patients appears to be disturbed, one can of ten establish a low glucose-tolerante (high curves). In the mank phase the glucosetolerance-curves are normal. The disturbed carbohydrate- nietabolism should be considered a sign of a more generally disturbed metabolism.
