summary Starting from publications about suicide and the internet, we checked which Dutch sites about suicide are available on the internet. With the use of the meta-search engine Ixquick, 45 different websites were found. These were visited, classified by intention and, if relevant, scored for quality. The relevant sites are, in general, of good quality and offer a questionnaire of suicidal mood, general information and a referral to professional help when suicidal.
