The use of levothyroxin in the treatment of rapid cycling bipolar disorder. A case study
The subject of this case study is a patient with refractory rapid cycling bipolar disorder who is treated successfully with levothyroxin. The treatment is evaluated by means of the Life Chart Method. The potential associations between thyroid dysfunction and bipolar disorder are discussed.
