An assessment was made for 143 childeren with learning difficulties and behavioural disorders from a psychodynamic point of view, based on the psychosocial model of human development from E. H. Eriksson.
53% of the childeren were only slightly disturbed; 55% showed neurotic disorders, finding their origin in the muscular-anal phase of development; 20% of the childeren showed disturbances, originating from the oral phase of development.
