Video als tentamenmiddel in de psychiatrie
H. Pomerantz, J. Stijlen
Ninety students who failed to pass a multiple choice test in psychiatry were given an oral re-test in the form of a video assisted examination. The oral examination consisted of a discussion of the contents of a taped interview with a patient from the psychiatrie clinic. Before being tested, the students were requested to answer a number of questions in writing regarding the patient and to submit these in advance to the examiner. The results of this experiment show that this form of testing is enthousiastically received by both students and examiners. Video tapes are apparently good tools to use with examinations which are meant to test theoretical as well as practical knowledge.
