Over de klinische behandeling van ontwikkelingspsychopathie bij kinderen
G. Mik
In this article the various aspects of the residential treatment of 'developmentalpsychopathy' in children are discussed. The consequences of early maternal deprivation on the psychological structure are described. A case-history is used to exemplify these consequences. The therapeutic process in the clinic is described.
Finally the organization necessary for such intensive therapy is fully discussed. In order for the treatment to be fully effectave, conditions must be established which may be called 'tender-loving-care'. These conditions can only be achieved if staff-members are themselves free from intra-staff rivalries and are not involved in intra-staff rivalry and have themselves no identity problems.
