A short survey is given of the bistory and the achievements of biological psychiatry the Interdisciplinary Society of Biological Psychiatry is expounded.
As regards the working-method of the new society the stress will be laid on the formation, and the work in interdisciplinary composed workinggroups.
Further, the cooperation with sister-organizations abroad will be actively pursued.
